Horse Spirit Healing...

I am happy to offer private consultations for people, as well as animals. In fact, they are the cornerstone of my healing practice. Each individual session is Spirit guided and no two are the same. I am a Shamanic Practitioner in the Celtic Tradition, offering plant spirit and energy healing, soul restoration, blessings, clearings and extraction work. I also work and have experience in other holistic healing practices as listed below.Many can be done via distance work, so if you are not in the immediate area please ask.

Please know none of these practices are a replacement for traditional medicine rather they are complimentary and you are fully encouraged to work along with your health care provider. 

Energy Work and Intuitive Communication Sessions-
 
A hands on healing session working with the body's energy pathways and chakras or energy centers, to clear blockages and stagnation.For people, sessions can take place in the yurt or in my private office in my home. I normally work with animals at your home or barn, as it is less stressful to them. When working with horses or other animals, I use intuitive communication to become sensitive to what the animal may be experiencing in order to facilitate a release and help direct the healing session.

Shamanic Healing-

 Shamanism is the most ancient of healing systems and different forms actually exist in nearly every culture. In more recent years it has come to the main stream with the help of anthropologist Michael Harner, who brought together the main practices that shamanic cultures have in common and began teaching them in the US as "Core Shamanism".
In Shamanism illness is viewed as having a spiritual cause, often due to the loss of personal power from a traumatic event. In a Shamanic Healing session, I journey to my place of personal power in order to help the client. I often surround my clients with healing crystals during a session and then with the help of my allies and/or teachers, I retrieve the power that was lost either thru power animal retrieval, soul retrieval, or methods of extraction.Sometimes the essence of a plant maybe necessary for the healing process. I like to have the client be a co-creator of the healing process,so I will often ask that you bring a personal healing object for the altar that can be charged with the healing energy of our work together.These sessions can often be done in person or from a distance so please inquire if you live out of my immediate area. Bach Flower Essences-

 Flower essences are the vibrational energetic essence of the plant preserved in alcohol at a very diluted rate. Flower Essences are chosen based on the emotional and mental state of the horse or client. I often use intuitive communication to make the best choice of essences for the situation.

Herbal Consultation-

Herbs are a very ancient way of treating our everyday health concerns and also preventing illness. It was the way of our ancestors and that deep herbal wisdom is still encoded in our DNA, we have only just forgotten over the last several generations. Horses are natural herbalists and using herbs to balance our horses health is a natural thing to do. I am available to give advice based on time honored traditional herbs. I do not diagnose or prescribe however, that is done by your veterinarian or physician.What I can do is answer questions you may have in regard to using herbs for yourself or your horse in a traditional manner.

Equine Bodywork-I will be accepting a limited number of clients in the spring of 2010.Please contact me to be placed on the waiting list.

My fees vary depending on the nature of the consultation. Most are in the range of $75-$120 and each session will last about 2 hours.
